The History of DiscoverOrg

Henry Schuck and Kirk Brown ─ two entrepreneurs on a mission to revolutionize the sales intelligence space ─ launched DiscoverOrg in a small, upstairs room in Ohio in 2007. Working with no venture capital or external funding, Henry and Kirk bootstrapped the company’s early stage and devoted themselves to evangelizing their innovative approach to growth-oriented enterprises, SMBs, and startups.

The DiscoverOrg concept resonated with the marketplace and quickly gained traction with top sales and marketing professionals. From just three employees (including Henry and Kirk), DiscoverOrg quickly grew and strategically relocated to Vancouver, Washington in 2009.

In less than six years, DiscoverOrg expanded to 150 employees and industry insiders now recognize DiscoverOrg as one of the nation’s fastest-growing companies.
