ServiceMaster Announces New Chief Information Officer

This alert goes out to all those savvy IT sales experts out there.  There has been significant management change at ServiceMaster.  This week, ServiceMaster announced that Tim Haynes has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, replacing Linda Goodspeed who served as CIO since 2011. The changes are effective immediately; however Goodspeed will remain with the company until the end of the year to help with the transition. Headquartered in Memphis Tennessee, ServiceMaster is one of the world’s largest residential and commercial service networks.

Focus on Preparing for Growth

Haynes joined ServiceMaster in 2012, where he served as Vice President and IT business partner for the American Home Shield, ServiceMaster Clean and Merry Maids units of ServiceMaster. He was also the IT leader for commercial initiatives. He quickly learned the ropes; Haynes will now report to ServiceMaster Chief Executive Officer Robert Gillette.

“With Tim’s broad knowledge in strategic business and technology planning, global IT systems, project management, and supply chain management, he’ll continue to look for ways to turn technology into an enabler of growth in all of our businesses,” said Gillette.

Haynes has been drawing from his prior experience at Nissan Motor, where he served as General Manager, IT Global Sales Finance for Nissan Motor Limited and Lead, Infrastructure Services Group for Nissan Americas. Prior to that, he served as Director, Application Development, for General Motors Acceptance Company. He also worked for Accenture and Global Crossing.  These vast experiences undoubtedly help move him to the top position quickly.
