Listen up, IT sales professionals – you don’t want to miss this.
Last week construction risk management leader, Hill International, announced that Michael Petrisko would rejoin the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He will replace Shawn Pressley who served as Chief Information Officer for two years. Petrisko, a well-known IT industry leader, served in the same role from 2007 to 2012 when he left the company to join STV Group as their Vice President and CIO.
On the Cutting Edge
Petrisko will be based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in Marlton, New Jersey.
“For five years Michael had a major positive impact on Hill and we are very excited that he is returning to our company,” said David L. Richter, President and Chief Operating Officer. “We have the utmost confidence in his leadership abilities to keep Hill on the cutting edge of information technology as we continue our global growth and expansion.”
IT Industry Expertise
With more than 30 years of IT industry experience, Petrisko boasts a strong background in both the engineering and construction industries. Prior to joining Hill in 2007, Petrisko served as Director, Global IT Operations for AECOM Technology group, and before that he was Vice President and CIO for a subsidiary of AECOM called DMJM/Harris.
Petrisko earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Sciences from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, New Jersey. He is actively a member of the New Jersey Society of Information Management.
Top Project Management Company
With over 4,300 professionals and 100 offices worldwide, Hill International was ranked as the number one project management company in the architecture industry by Building Design Magazine.
DiscoverOrg’s sources indicate that Petrisko will initiate an increase spending to develop project management systems. Sources indicate that the initiative will extend for the next twelve months, with the greatest amount of spending occurring in the first six months of Petrisko’s tenure as CIO. A recent study conducted by DiscoverOrg concluded that in the IT industry, 25% of CIOs who had been in their position for less than a year said that they spent over $1 million, and 71% of those IT industry leaders did so in the first three months in their new position.
While Hill International leads the construction risk management industry, DiscoverOrg’s database will continue to cover all verticals and industries.
