Notes are free text boxes available on a company profile, contact profile, SmartCaller page, and the Org Chart that allow you to enter relevant information about a contact or company. Notes can be viewed by your colleagues that also use RainKing and can be exported to Salesforce as open tasks.

How can it help

  • You can add notes to lists of people and companies to keep track of activities within the RainKing platform.
  • Any time a contact/lead is exported to Salesforce via RainKing, any notes will be pushed as open tasks in the Activities section.
  • You can make notes and share them with colleagues that also have RainKing access.

Steps to Create

Begin by choosing either a contact profile or a company profile within RainKing. To input a note, select the notepad icon Notes Icon.jpg at the top and right of the page. You can view previously entered notes by selecting the Notes tab on any company or contact profile.

From the pop-up page, you can input relevant information about a contact and/or a company and simply select Post once complete. The note will now be timestamped and saved for you and your colleagues to access anytime.

SmartCaller Notes

You can also fill in notes from the SmartCaller tool. You also have access to ‘Notes Shortcuts’.

Notes capture daily logged activity based on submissions in the SmartCaller tool. The count reflects the number of unique (people) records ‘touched’ on a given day through this logged activity.

Your Admin has the ability to add custom entries in your company’s Notes Shortcuts.

Once the note is saved, it can be exported to Salesforce along with any company or contact profile. The note will push into Salesforce as an open task in the activities section of the relevant contact or company page.

Org Chart Notes

You can also fill in notes from the Org Chart on a company or contact profile.

Once the note is saved, it can be exported to Salesforce along with any company or contact profile. The note will push into Salesforce as an open task in the activities section of the relevant contact or company page.

Manage Notes

To manage notes, you can select My RainKing from the navigation bar and click on ‘Notes’ from the drop down menu. There will be a red delete icon on the right of each note to remove it. You can review notes or search for ones you or your colleagues have previously created from the page as well.
