DiscoverOrg, the leader in lead generation and marketing systems for technology companies, Ranks #207 on the 2011 Inc. 500 List.
VANCOUVER, Wash., August 23, 2011 – Inc. magazine announced today its 30th annual Inc. 500 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the country. DiscoverOrg, the leading provider of lead generation and marketing systems for technology companies, with three-year growth of 1516% percent ranked No. 207 on the overall list, No. 14 within business services and products and No. 2 in the Portland Metro Area.
Other prominent brands among this year’s fastest growing companies include Spirit Airlines, television maker Vizio, Honest Tea, Dunkin Donuts and Metrokane, makers of the Rabbit corkscrew.
Four years ago DiscoverOrg was a two-person company based in the upstairs loft of the founders’ apartment. Today the company employs 50+ people and has over 300 customers from Information Security companies to IT Security vendors to Non-Profits.
“The growth is exciting, but it’s really a testament to our employees and our product. Our customers renew our service over 90% of the time and we’re focused on providing a product that makes sales and marketing teams be more efficient, more productive and sell more,” said Henry Schuck the company’s Senior Vice President of Sales.
The 2011 Inc. 500, unveiled in the September issue of Inc. (available on newsstands August 23 to November 15 and on Inc.com), is a group of companies that are smaller but much faster-growing than last year’s crop. Aggregate revenue is $10.5 billion, with a median three-year growth of 1,275 percent. The companies on this year’s list employ more than 46,000 people and generated over 35,000 jobs in the past three years.
“This is just the beginning for DiscoverOrg. We look forward to continuing our growth by expanding our market share and also expanding into new markets and making our service accessible from multiple platforms. We look forward to being a fixture on the INC 500 list,” added Schuck.
The 2011 Inc. 500 list measures revenue growth from 2007 through 2010. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit and independent, not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies, with at least $2,000,000 in revenues as of December 31, 2010, and have at least $100,000 in net sales in 2007.
